A New Exercise Video

Yes, Ok, this may be lame.  BUT, today I vow to do one of the P90X videos that have been gathering cobwebs since I haven't had time to do them.  I have no excuse today.  I showed up to teach a cycle class and no one, I repeat, NO ONE showed up!  WTF???  I wish I could say that THAT was a first, but alas, that was a second: )  I did have a few people that would've taken it if more people had come, but bless them, they told me to go home so that I didn't have to teach an hour cycle class to just two people.  I must say, I hope my face didn't read "HALLELUJAH!"  because as much as I LOVE to teach, and I do, sometimes it's nice to have an unexpected break.

So, I came home and did a scavenger hunt and obstacle course in the back yard with the kids.  It's so nice out I'm glad I got to take advantage of it as the people that did not show up for cycle seem to be doing!!!!!!  But I digress: )

If I come up with another exciting first for the day I will let you know.  This is turning out to be harder than I thought.  I really expected that I was more creative!  Who'd a thunk?  I mean, yesterday, when I was driving, I saw a snake slithering across the road.  I expected to hit it, but lucky bastard made it through the tires  unscathed.  Then I got to thinking, hey, I've never hit a snake with my car....that could be a first!  But then I figured some reptile lover would hunt me down.  I have witnessed a snake getting decapitated.  A loooooong time ago at the park down the street from us we were throwing rocks at a copperhead from off a wooden bridge above a creek.  My Dad winged one (yes, it was HIS idea) and it hit the snake right in the neck (wait, do snakes have a neck?  Would that be their whole body?) and the head popped right off.  I must admit, it was COOL!  We were high fiving!  I know, not nice to animals, yada yada yada.  You should hear what I used to do to my cat.  Eeks!  Another time: )
